I'm a MonsterMonsters are inside of me,
Monsters are the size of my jeans.
Monsters will never let me be.
Fighting against me and this thing I am forced to call a body.
Monsters are carbs,
I am the superhero with the power starve.
Monsters are the suspicious people around,
Monsters are the sounds,
Escaping my humongous stomach.
Monsters are horrid objects such as ovens.
Monsters are ugly and fat,
And I am just that.

Tornado Of HellWhen it rains it pours,
Our brittle souls can't take anymore.
Death pounding at the door,
As if it was an angry neighbor.
Gradually it busts the door down,
Not making a scene or sound.
Escaping out of your chest,
Doing the best,
To be a tornado made of hell.
Doing well,
At hurting the surroundings.
You're running,
Meaning to show the scars,
But it has gone too far,
As you begin to burn everything in you path.
Other's still can't do the math.
They blame you,
Everything you do,
An excuse,
Can't be made.
The scars....Do you even want them to fade?

NothingI wanna feel nothing again,
bury myself in the fury of
my half-death, alive but not
feeling, muted and silent.

I wanna have nothing again,
free myself to the unending
scorn of those around me and
be able to not care.

I wanna feel nothing again,
I just don't want to be
confined to all of this
never-ending freedom.

Stabbed

I met you in fourth grade
I got to know you well
You had problems at home
Stuck there like a lawn gnome.

Helping first worked out well
Then you got in a bind
You crawled out of your war
Things weren't right in your mind.

You yearned to yell at me
I stood there like a tree
In hard situations
Our friendship: let it be!

Through this we grew apart
I gave you one last chance
You stabbed me in the heart
You stabbed me with your lance.

never thought I'd be like thisI never thought
I'd be like this,
with broekn smiles
and scarred up wrists.

No, I never thought
I'd be like this
back when my world
was filled with joy.

never thought
I would cry so much,
and have to remember
faded out scars.

I never thought
I would feel alone
when I was a little girl.

Back when days were simple
and cooties still existed.
When I'd smile and play,
and had such big dreams.

of reaching for the sky,
of singing on stage,
and becoming president.

but it never crossed my mind
that I'd feel pain,
and cry so much
and that my pleas would go unheard

I thought the world
was a happy place,
for me as a little girl,
and I never though

The Beauty of MusicMusic makes me forget all my troubles,
It doesn't make me worry anymore.
Music makes my happiness to double,
It will forever have all mi amor.
The melody brings such sweet harmony,
That I feel like I'm flying in the sky,
Where the lyrics are so full of beauty,
The sweet sounds and lyrics make me feel so high.
But sometimes it just deepens the wounds more,
Music has control over my feelings,
It dictates my life and I despise that
It makes me feel weak but it's so daring.
I may loathe how it controls my feelings
But it's the reason why I'm still living.

I Swear I'd be Pretty AgainIf you told the sky
that blue was nice,
but not your favorite color,
I swear it'd glow more vibrantly.
And likewise, if you
could only find the courage to
tell me I am not perfect,
that I am flawed,
and that sometimes,
you can't bear to
be around me,
I swear I'd try harder.
If you could only tell me I changed
and that I'm not who I was,
If you could only tell me
that I am ugly,
I swear I'd be pretty again.

do better

this sky was
full of stars
then maybe
my wish

Battle CryBrave soldiers
risk their lives
for what?
Is war necessary for peace?
Is dying necessary for life?
What has become of us?
Where are we going?
How many have died because of this thing called war?
How many battle cries shattered with death?
How many tears from their graves?
How many more will we lose?

(New)The Madness Inside MeInsanity can be sweet
Like the caress of forbidden love
The overwhelming taste of darkness
Lingering on my tongue.

But I hold it back
And like a good little girl
I never let it loose.
Because once I set it free…

I'd be stuck in its grasp forever.

Darkness would surround me
Madness would corrode me
Hell would beckon me
And the old me would cry.

The previous me would plead
"What have you done?"
And the new dark me would reply
"Something wonderful."

My eyes
Revealing darkness.
My smile
Showing madness.

Lashing out at everything
My inner darkness rising
Sending the angels running
Running far away.

Dark whispers feeding into fear
That creeps up from behind

The sickness seeps from you to me
It claws inside my heart
A raging storm of misery
That rips us both apart

It’s not as bad as it may seem
Although I tend to shade what’s true
Reality twists to a dream
My mind becomes askew

I take this blame to hold
Though it may not be my own
This fiery joy has since gone cold
As your disease has grown

I wish that I could take it all
And deal with it instead
If only guilt’s enchanting call
Would cease inside my head

This voice that is my own
It breathes compulsive lies
If only sooner you had known
You’d be your own demise.

I can’t accept all that is real
I can’t accept this now
I can’t quite figure how I feel
Until then, I’ll learn how.

A broken exile,
Both in Earth and heaven;
A lonely fall from grace,
Beyond any hope of cure.

AnxietiesHands over ears, screams hide the tears
Like monsters, they stand around, eerie and cruel
Grotesque and uncontrolled
They drive me to the point of collapse
So I do.

I’m the ground
I shake and tremble and tear everything down
I am the ground
I don’t understand how anyone stays around me
When I’m like this

I’m like a stone
Rolling out of control
Loud and predictable, we all know where I’m going
Down, as sure as water, I will fall
And as a boulder, I will tear down everything in my path

I Wonder...Sometimes I wonder what I am,
If all these pieces actually make a man
Or if I’ve lost a piece or two
From all the times I’ve shattered.
I can’t help but wonder that maybe
If my pieces are scattered,
That the moon might make a nice eye,
And the black night sky its lid.
Perhaps the stars would be better,
But they shine in another sky,
Of her own scattered puzzle,
Hidden behind their own black veil.
And I ask myself,
How we can all be so broken,
And still have hope that maybe,
Somehow,
Someone can put us back together,
And we might be happy again.

For some reason, when I read this, it feels as if I had just bought an emo CD, heard a song I rather liked, opened the lyrics booklet, read the lyrics out loud, while the song plays over and over again in the background.

So..*ahem* I can see the frustration and tension you have while writing this, especially over how your significant other played with your emotions, and how every time he does that, it feels as if he's killing you slowly, over and over again, with your body feeling like it's wasting away, and your mind fading away as he does that.

I can feel the sadness and frustration in this poem, and I rather like it.

What do you think?
